The students in CINDY ALLEN’S adult watercolor class are exhibiting their artwork at Wainright during the month of November, 2019. All are welcome to visit and see the lovely work created by this class Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays, 1 to 4 p.m. Free of Charge. Cindy’s class meets Thursday mornings at the Wainright House Museum.

Traditional Rug Hooking Exhibit, now on display. All Welcome. Free and Open to the Public.

Handmade rugs by DIANE WAUGH are on exhibit for the month of October. Examples of traditional and modern rugs, using a linen base with wool strips and hand spun yarn.

ART EXHIBIT MONTH OF SEPTEMBER, 2019

September 1 through September 29, 2019, the FREEHOLD ART SOCIETY once again has members’ works on exhibit at the Wainright. Artists with work now on display are LAURA ANGRESS of Freehold, CAROLYN TISCHER BARTLETT of Howell, JANE GAVAGHEN of Freehold, MADHULIKA KANUNGO of Englishtown, KAREN MARTIN of Freehold, SMITA NEDUNURI of Kendall Park, ALOIS NEUHAUS of Wall and CATHY OSIER of Wrightstown. A reception will be held at the Wainright on Sunday, September 8, 2019, from 1 to 4 p.m. Come meet some of the artists and enjoy the beautiful art as well as the history of the building.

June 1 through June 30, 2019, members of the FREEHOLD ART SOCIETY, have pieces of their artwork on display throughout the first floor of Wainright House and Museum.

The exhibiting artists are BARBARA BRAM, watercolors, VICKY CULVER,, photo collages, HEMA GJUPTA, watercolors, VALERIE RIGAZIO, pastel paintings and CAROLYN TISCHER BARTLETT, pastel paintings.

Saturday, June 22, Freehold Art Society member, Carolyn Tischer Bartlett, will be on site at Wainright House & Museum from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. She will be painting or drawing while there and will be available to discuss her artwork, art classes and the Freehold Art Society with any interested visitiors. There is no charge to visit the Museum and Virginia Woolley will be on hand to provide a tour of the house from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m.
