RAILROADS AROUND FARMINGDALE

Saturday, November 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and

Sunday, November 26, 1 to 4 p.m.

Jerry Clearwater will present a talk featuring the history of railroads in the Farmingdale area, including accidents and more. He will have a large display of photographs and memorabilia throughout the years.

FREE TO THE PUBLIC. Donations are gratefully accepted but not required.

AT WAINRIGHT HOUSE AND MUSEUM

1:30 TO 3:00 P.M.

Freehold Artist, Joseph H. Reilly will present a demonstration of portrait painting. .

Joseph H. Reilly was the Art Instructor at Freehold Borough High School from 1959 – 2004.  In addition, he was the Director of Drama, including set and costume design.

Joe was also the Costume and Set Designer for Brookdale Community College; Gateway Playhouse at Ocean County College;

the Theater Barn at Thompson Park; and the Theatre Arts Guild, Theatre 8.  In 2008, he received the Count Basie Lifetime Achievement Award.

Joseph Reilly is  a graduate of Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.  His work has been exhibited widely, and he is currently a regular exhibitor at the Freehold Art Gallery. 

This program is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

The children’s art classes at Wainright will begin again when the Governor indicates it is okay to do so. In the meantime, we would like to thank CeCe Cavanaugh for volunteering to work with the children’s class in 2019. She was a good help in assisting our teacher, Carolyn Tischer Bartlett, during the fall session.

WAINRIGHT HOUSE AND MUSEUM WILL OPEN FOR THE SEASON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2020 WITH AN ART EXHIBIT FEATURING THE ARTWORK OF LOCAL ARTIST AND TEACHER, CAROLYN TISCHER BARTLETT.

WE WILL BE OPEN ON SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M. TO 2 P.M. AND ON SUNDAY FROM 12 NOON TO 4 P.M. IT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. VIEW THE ART AND ENJOY A TOUR OF THE MUSEUM, GUIDED BY OWNER, HISTORIAN, VIRGINIA WOOLLEY.

MASKS MUST BE WORN WHILE IN THE MUSEUM.

DONATIONS ARE WELCOME BUT NOT REQUIRED.
