The one-woman art exhibit now on display, with works by local artist and teacher, CAROLYN TISCHER BARTLETT, will leave at the end of September. The museum will be open through Sunday, Sept. 20 (1 to 4 p.m.). Wainright will be closed the weekend of September 26-27.
The children’s art classes at Wainright will begin again when the Governor indicates it is okay to do so. In the meantime, we would like to thank CeCe Cavanaugh for volunteering to work with the children’s class in 2019. She was a good help in assisting our teacher, Carolyn Tischer Bartlett, during the fall session.
WE WILL BE OPEN ON SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M. TO 2 P.M. AND ON SUNDAY FROM 12 NOON TO 4 P.M. IT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. VIEW THE ART AND ENJOY A TOUR OF THE MUSEUM, GUIDED BY OWNER, HISTORIAN, VIRGINIA WOOLLEY.
Local school classes and families will bring their fanciful gingerbread houses to Wainright from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. tonight, December 5th, for this year’s exhibit.
The Farmingdale Borough Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at the corner of Asbury Avenue and Main Street at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening, December 6th. You can visit the gingerbread house exhibit before or after the tree lighting.
